Share your mobile's internet connection with multiple devices!!

Have an internet connection on your Mobile but not on your Wifi-only tablet or your laptop? Don't worry! I'll teach you how to share your mobile's Data connection with your Tablet or Laptop. Nowadays mobile phones come with a inbuilt feature known as WiFi-Tethering. WiFi-Tethering is a feature on android that shares your mobile internet by creating a WiFi hotspot. In fact it makes your phone a moving WiFi-hotspot! All you need is a data connection(Data connection can cost you money!) and WiFi Tethering feature on your mobile.

First Ensure that your mobile has a working Data Connection. (3g or 4g recommended).
Then Go to settings. In some phones you can find WiFi tethering in WiFi section and in some other phones it is located in Wireless & Networks---More. Turn on WiFi-Tethering. Click on the WiFi-tethering bar for more options such as SSID, Security Type, frequency and many more. We'll just talk about these three options only. SSID is the name of your WiFi network. In Security you have WPA 2 PSK,WEP(Options may differ in other devices) and none. WPA 2 PSK and WEP(recommended) encrypts your WiFi network with a password and selecting none in security will create a open WiFi network. Select the preferred frequency type according to the frequency supported by your other devices that you want to share your Internet with. The most common one is the 2.4 GHz b/g/n. I would you suggest not to play with this if you are not sure about what to select.
Once you are done with customizing the settings and options, then close the options window and turn on wifi tethring. Once you've turned on wifi tethering, you will see a small black WiFi icon in a white background in your status bar(see image). Now login to your Laptop or Tablet and then search for the Wifi network you created. Connect to this network and you're done.
